2013 Autism Conference

In April 2013, Cambridge College had the opportunity to host an event in collaboration with The Mentor Network in support of Autism Awareness month.  Families of children with autism, professionals, teachers and educators were all invited to attend and gain a better understanding of Autism and have access to a variety of resources and services available in our local community.  Erik Linthorst, who has touched the lives of many families and children with Autism, gave an informative and heartfelt presentation about his personal experience of having a child with special needs.  Cambridge College was thrilled to take part in this educational and inspiring event and is looking forward to partnering with The Mentor Network for future events and conferences.
