Paul White is new ADC Program Chair

We are pleased to announce that Paul White, Senior Instructor in School of Psychology & Counseling, will become Program Chair of Addictions Counseling/ADC, starting immediately. Colleen Goode, MEd, LMHC, has been the Coordinator of this program since 2010, and has decided to step away from an administrative role and will continue to teach. We are grateful for her contribution, leadership and service to Cambridge College.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Eugene Lang College, part of The New School (NYC), in Creative Writing and Education. Paul is also a 2010 alumnus of Cambridge College (SOPC) in Mental Health and School Adjustment Counseling. His clinical experience has been at DMH (in the Community Based Flexible Support program) at Weymouth High School, and currently as lead clinician at the Herren Project, a national non-profit organization, founded by former NBA player Chris Herren, that helps individuals and families dealing with substance use disorder.

Paul is a Certified Addictions Recovery Coach through the Massachusetts Board of Substance Abuse. He also continues coaching and counseling individuals in recovery. Paul identifies himself as a person in recovery and says that he values professional opportunities where he can have an impact in an area that has special significance for him. SOPC looks forward to his passion and engagement in this area of training and scholarship.
