Insight

We all need to be lifelong learners - I believe this on a personal level and as I teach I try to instill this in my students. Students are individuals with different learning styles and individual life experiences. As I am teaching them, they are teaching me and one another. At the core of my teaching is a focus on experiential learning: practical application of the concepts presented in class is critical. My goal in teaching is that students gain understanding, insight, and the relevant application of the concepts being presented in the courses I teach; it is very important to me that students enjoy the learning process and can integrate the learning into their life experiences.
